Biocomputers uses original explanatory graphics and, where the rights are clear, selected photographs or figures from research groups, companies and open-access publications. Image provenance is recorded separately from the scientific evidence behind a claim.
Made for Biocomputers.co.uk. These can explain architecture without implying that a schematic is a photograph of a specific device.
The exact licence is checked on the source item. Creator, source, licence and any modifications are recorded.
Company or researcher imagery is stored locally only when published media terms or direct permission allow it.
Useful external material can be linked to without copying it onto this site.
Current visual assets
The site currently relies mainly on original diagrams and the interactive homepage neural field. Priority is given to real hardware, wet-lab and neural-interface photography on pages where it adds evidence or physical context.

What a credit records
For third-party material the record includes the creator or organisation, original source, licence or permission state, local filename, caption, alt text and the date the rights information was checked.
An image with uncertain reuse rights remains an external reference. It is not copied into the site while the rights state is unresolved.
